Biblioteca

2019

The project focused on creating a library within a Queen Anne house built in 1900 in the city of Chihuahua. A solid wood L-shaped structure was designed for this space, respecting the original windows, doors, and all existing ornaments on the walls.

Within this space, a minimalist piece of furniture was introduced, which also served as a support for mini-split units, optimizing temperature control without compromising aesthetics. One of the standout features is the window, where a bench was installed to create a cozy corner ideal for reading or work.

The library was carefully designed to maximize natural light and take advantage of the surrounding views. The result is a unique space that blends the elegance of historic architecture with the functionality of contemporary design, while maintaining the original character of the Queen Anne house.
